One-Two Punch: Information Builders Wins International Business Awards in Both Product and Customer Service Categories

We’re excited to share that Information Builders has taken home not one, but two awards in the International Business Awards! A widely-known business awards program, the International Business Awards competition judged submissions from individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The 2016 IBAs received over 3,800 entries from more than 60 nations and territories.

Information Builders’ Omni-Gen was a Bronze Stevie winner for best new product in the “Software – Big Data Solution” category. A single platform housed in the cloud or on-premises, Omni-Gen helps organizations generate applications that combine data integration, data quality, and master data management – in a fraction of the time such projects used to require. With Omni-Gen, users have seen the time for typical projects reduced from years to months or even weeks.

In addition, Information Builders was recognized for “Customer Service Department of the Year,” also taking home a Bronze on behalf of our Worldwide Customer Services team (WCS). IB’s customer-centric philosophy is bolstered by this integrated team of support professionals who are dedicated to the success of our customers. Since 2016, WCS has ensured a high retention rate; grew our Focal Point online support community to over 9,000 members, 20,000 topics, and 100,000 posts; and increased participation in our user group program to over 3,500 attendees. In the second half of 2015 alone, WCS provided self-service customer support to 25,000 users.
