Yesterday was a busy day at Summit. In addition to all of the conversations we blogged about we also announced the winners of our “Flat Gerry” contest.
We launched this contest as a way to hear first-hand what our customers are doing with our technology, and to learn more about how it helps them solve everyday challenges. We also wanted to see how creative our customers would get with a flat paper cutout of our CEO Gerry Cohen, to bring their stories to life.
Suffice it to say we were more than impressed. The photos and videos we received were incredible! Flat Gerry spent some quality time with notable characters like Yoda, Mickey Mouse, and Elvis; grabbed a beer at Cheers, Boston’s famous bar; saw the monuments in D.C., and even made an appearance at the Queen’s Jubilee! He starred in films produced by Nationwide, AutoZone de Mexico, Air Canada, Wendy’s, Tennessee Farm Bureau, Florida Atlantic University, Strategic Fulfillment Group, KKA Japan, Indy Productions, Tesch Global, Highland Community College along with Davenport University, UNCA, AppState, NCAT and UNCG, Senior Health Insurance Company of Pennsylvania, New Hampshire DRA, Pichler Computing, CMA Consulting, Inc, and United Automobile Insurance Company. What a fantastic effort by all!
It was so tough to pick the winners – we were literally laughing and crying during our deliberations – but we had to pick three. You can watch them at www.flatgerry.com
First Prize – AutoZone Mexico: Flat Gerry gets his own sombrero when he arrives in Monterrey to hang out with customer AutoZone de Mexico. He watches a soccer game, heads to Cancun for a little sun, and eventually makes his way to Summit. Hasta Luego!
Second Prize – Air Canada: Flat Gerry went on an exciting journey to Air Canada’s headquarters in Montreal – hanging with the pilot in the cockpit and helping to solve a perplexing code issue. Follow his journey.
Third Prize – Pichler Computing: Borrowing a page from the popular LMFAO song, Flat Gerry told the world, “I’m Fexing and I know it” and provided some reporting tips. Trust me, you have to see it.
Honorable Mention – Nationwide: International Man of Mystery? No, it’s just Flat Gerry seeing the sights in Columbus, Ohio with retro style.
