March FOCUS Friday: Maintain and Table –  MODIFY Basics and a MacGyver Overview

It is March - the  month of wind, mud and spring - and another FOCUS Friday!  Join us this month as we cover the MODIFY language designed to give you broad control over individual records. We will also take another look at the fascinating MacGyver technique.

MODIFY Basics

While TABLE allows you to work with sets of records, MODIFY gives you the ability to work with data one record at a time - for transaction processing, or reporting. We will examine the basic commands of the MODIFY language and demo its use.

MacGyver Overview

The infamous MacGyver technique that was named after the tv show of the genius who can fix almost anything with some bubble gum and a paper clip will be explained as to how it works and what you can do with it. Please join us to learn how to duplicate input records (virtually) to create subreports.
