Summer is upon us and while it may be hot outside, FOCUS Friday has lots of cool information, tips and techniques that you can use right away. June’s lineup includes handling multiple forms in Maintain Form Manipulation, an in-depth look at the other sort phrases you have with FOCUS and WebFOCUS - ACROSS, and an exploration of the power of FML Hierarchy. 

Maintain Form Manipulation

Maintain applications can have multiple forms.  This presentation examines creating multiple forms, using the multipage control, and displaying forms inside App Studio.

ACROSS, the Other Sort

Following our in-depth look at the BY sort phrase in the FOCUS language in February, this session will concentrate on the other sort – ACROSS. Join us as we cover the functionality that you can access using this sort, both alone and with BY in traditional matrix formats.

FML Hierarchy

The session will extend your knowledge of the financial reporting language by delving into the hierarchical reporting capabilities that are available to easily roll up totals based on a parent/child relationship.
